HELP!!

I need advice. My son was born by C-section--he was a 9 lb 12 oz breech baby--and the doctor stitched me a little...tight. I've been working hard to lose my belly but while the rest of me is fitter than a fiddle, I just can't seem to lose this blob. Advice needed! Should I confront the doctor about the mis-stitch? Should I just live with it?

How old is your son now? It takes years or sometimes it never quite goes away completely - that annoying little lower bulge over the c-section scar. I've had 2 c-sections now and the second time made it even worse. You can research this online and see that even the fittest body competitors and athletes will admit to still having this flap of skin above the scar.

SORRY I DON'T HAVE MORE UPLIFITING NEWS. But, hey, he is worth it!! Right?!?

And unless you are wearing a string bikini no one will be the wiser.

MAYBE WE SHOULD CALL THIS THE "LOVE HANDLE"!!

You are absolutely right, my son is so worth it...it's just that the way that the incision was stitched left a love handle on top and a love bump below it--if you catch my drift. Even my doctor, in shock, said, "I could fix that if you had another baby." I'm certain that my scar is not 'right'. I keep telling myself, 'Cardio, cardio, cardio' because that belly fat has to surrender at some point, right?

I don't know if this is helpful, but I didn't have a C-Section and no amount of working out is getting rid of my belly. I think our only hope is to change the tide of what media call sexy.

I have had two c sections and still have that pooch over the c section site. Plus sagging skin.
The only way to get rid of that is plastic surgery.
