Marathon Stroller Record

I was just reading this article on two(male) marathoners that are trying to break the stroller marathon record. I'm not sure how I feel about it....what about you? I personally know that my kids might unbuckle themselves and try to kill me if I ran for that long with them in the stroller. (And I've been pushing them since they were born) Wonder how these kids feel?

Makes me curious to know if there is a stroller record that involves moms rather than just dads??

If you just can't read enough about running - check out my personal running blog at :0) Become a fan while you are at it?!?!

Funny - I've seen Michael at a ton of races and had no idea he had kids. Someone needs to talk to him about what type of stroller to use - THAT'S FOR SURE. The swivel wheel BOB he is using is definitely not the best choice. Maybe I should coach him ;)

I did TONS of my long runs pushing my youngest daughter while training for my first marathon - including an 18-miler. Yep. She just napped her sweet little head off. Not a peep.

I think if I could run a sub 3 hour marathon, my kids could handle it. Problem is, I'm more like twice that time!
How about a "See Mommy Run" - strollers REQUIRED - race?

Ooops and I forgot to say how awesome it was that your daughter napped for that long run! Sheesh no wonder you are one fast momma - that stroller made you stronger :)
