The Running Mommy Joins the club!

Hello,

I would like to introduce myself. I am Lisa and I am a runner!
(insert - "Hi Lisa")

I have been running for about 20 years, running everything between a 5K to marathons. My marathon PR = 4:19:19...so I am slow!

I am a mother of 2 girls - hence the Running Mommy - who LOVE to go running with me!

I have made it my quest to help other running mommies out in their quest to keep motivated and to keep running.

I am working now with some races in the Metro Detroit area to become more baby jogger friendly!

I will keep posting tips from time to time.

Keep Running

Lisa

Hi running mommy! I love your post! I have been so inspired by the running community and by running moms in particular that I put that passion to a purpose! We'd love to have you post on our site www.runningmoms.org and also find us on facebook...Running Moms! We are rapidly growing a network or moms all across the WORLD...and we are also promoting www.seemommyrun.com as a great place to connect with moms from their area! Yay Lisa!

Lisa, too bad I didn't get to know you before I moved from Detroit! Like you, I LOVE running, and my daughter (and 6mo son) love running with me, too! Just yesterday, I was going to take the kids on a walk, and my daughter said, "Run, Mommy! Run--it's fun!" I am a slow runner, too, but I can keep going for a long time. Keep up your running--you inspire all of us running mommies out there!

Thanks for your kind words!

I am trying to convert all my friends...one mommy at a time!

Good luck to you and maybe I'll see you around some races!

I have lots to offer!

Need any motivation - I have it.

REMEMBER - you burn 20% more calories pushing a jogger - and you get rocken' arms!

Welcome! I have the same running stroller :) I would also not say 4:19 is slow. It's faster than the average median marathon finish time for women!
