Supermom
How cool am I? I can have a baby via C-section and run a marathon the same year. Go me. Woo hoo. After reading about the mom who had sextuplets (via C-section, as well as heart failure during delivery) and still ran the San Diego Rock & Roll Marathon - and looked good while doing it - I'm not even impressing myself! Well, at least I can try to beat her time of over 5:30.

Unimpressive. Now if you could run a marathon the same year you had as C-section AND discovered the cure the cancer, that might be an accomplishment.
(tee hee - only kidding - surviving each one alone earns my respect!!)

Way to go! I have had two c-sections and although the second was much easier than the first, they both sucked the life out of me for a long time! I ran a half marathon 14 months after my last child was born, and that was a challenge for me...kudos to you on your marathon and how far you came!
Hmmm...I thought I had to wait until my boys were in school to train for a marathon. You might be my new hero!
Did you run a marathon, or are you planning to? I think anyone who has the strength and endurance to complete one is amazing. That takes so much focus and perserverence to push yourself that hard. I get winded running a mile, but someday I have that goal to run a marathon!
The job is okay, kinda slow at the bar, but I made some good money last night.
WHat's teh saying about every journey beginning with a single step? It's the same for running. I'm still getting winded, too, but teh miles are adding up, and to get through a marathon (not win any medals, but to get through it) you just need to practice. Practice, practice, practice! Hopefully I will do more of that before October gets here!!!! Right now I'm just squeezing in miles when I can, which is an improvement. My stomach, though, is not nearly as toned as the sextuplet mom! So not fair!!!
