26 weeks pregnant now and hatin' it! Especially the heartburn! Someone told me sparkling water helps, and the $11 spent on a case of Pellegrino at Costco was a steal!
I am all for herbal remedies, but I like to pop my pills too (yeah, Nyquil!). Obviously I can't do too much of that these days, so I am considering every old wives tale that comes my way. Sparkling water works better than Zantac (Zyrtec...what was I taking???). And I am still swearing by Vicks Vapor Rub on your feet for a cold.

You know, the heartburn means your baby is going to be born with a head full of hair...trust me on this.
Like I said, I'm accepting all wives tales!
My son had a full head of hair but I never had heartburn. Have you tried mylanta....I have heard it helps. YOu can buy it over the counter.
My first pregnancy I ate Gaviscon like candy. It forms a foamy barrier over your gastric contents preventing them from backing up into your esophagus. They don't taste the greatest but not the worst either. They are over-the-counter.
Good luck!
Thanks for the tips...but most of the other meds make me vomit. They didn't last time, but they do this time. I'm lovin' my Pellegrino though!
I used to drink a glass of milk before I went to bed....Chocolate Milk...it really helped subside my heartburn through the night...its worth a try. Also I started to sleep propped up,IT help alot.
